Decline free general waste bin

Use this service to opt out of receiving a free 180 litre general waste bin

If you already have a wheeled general waste bin 180 litres or smaller, you may opt out of delivery of a new general waste bin, which will otherwise be delivered in advance of the spring 2026 waste and recycling collection changes

Before you start you will need:

• the size of your current general waste bin
• your address
• your email address and phone number

It is not possible to opt out of the new food waste collection container which will be delivered in March 2026
