Assisted collections
Use this form to set up assisted collections
Before you start you will need:
- The property address
- How long you would like the arrangement for
- Location for the collections
Using this service will take around 5 minutes.
Please be aware:
- only occupants who are genuinely incapacitated or disabled, either temporarily or permanently, with no other person in the property or in the immediate neighbourhood able to move the bins on their behalf will be granted an assisted collection. We may need to visit your property to confirm this before awarding the exemption
- assisted collections will not be granted on the length of driveways or distance to property boundary
- assisted collections will not be granted if an alternate collection point, either individual or communal, has already been identified as a necessity and agreed by the council
- where an assisted collection is granted, an assisted collection service will be provided from an alternative collection point as agreed by the council and will be reviewed at regular intervals. Collection points must be easily accessible by crew operatives and not presented in internal spaces, behind locked gates or in areas containing free running animals. If this is not possible, your assisted collection service may be declined or cancelled
