Report an empty property

Use this service to report an empty property. It is important to note that there are many reasons why properties are left empty and it may not be possible for local authority to tell you these reasons due to GDPR (General Data Protection Regulations). However, the local authority can then work with the owner with the aim of getting the property back into use as soon as possible.

Before you start you will need:

• address of the empty property
• how long the property has been empty
• details about the empty property and the owner
• your name and address
• contact telephone number or email address
• photographs of the property to show why you think it's empty. You must upload at least one image with this form
