  • PLEASE NOTE: Once you have successfully completed Stage 1 and clicked the [Next Stage>>] button your application will be SAVED with a temporary reference e.g. 1307201603
  • This will be shown at the top of Stage/Page 2 e.g. "Application reference: 1307201603" - Please make a NOTE of this number.
  • If you get an error on the web site simply return to the login page (this page) and enter you Temporary Application Reference and your Date of Birth to [Login] again, you will then be able to complete your application without re-entering the saved data.

  • You must answer every question. If you do not, this may delay your application.

  • We will ask for references from your current or previous landlord.
  • You must tell us about any changes in your current circumstances.
  • Please give your name and the name of any joint applicant, such as a partner or family member who would share the tenancy with you. Joint applicants are equally responsible for paying the rent and looking after the property

For your application to be progressed you are required to provide photocopies of the following documents:-

  • Your identity and that of the people in your household (birth certificate, passport, driving licence or similar)
  • Proof of any children you are responsible for i.e. Child Benefit notification
  • Proof of where you live and any non-dependents wishing to be housed with you (utility bills etc.)
  • Proof of any income and savings
  • Proof of any benefits you are in receipt of
  • A copy of your present Tenancy Agreement
  • A Completion Statement if you have sold a property within the last 5 years
  • Proof of Right to Reside in the UK

The application form is automatically saved on our computer system and may be retrieved for further editing by logging on using the application reference and your date of birth.

If you are not yet ready to submit the application to Arun for processing, simply log off. To continue editing the form, you may logon using the application reference and main applicant date of birth.

When you have completed the form, please check each stage is correct and read the declaration. Finally, please tick that you have read and understood the declaration and then submit the application for processing. An application, once submitted, cannot be retrieved.

Please login to retrieve an application that you have previously worked on and saved (Application data is saved each time you move from one stage to another)

To retrieve your saved application, enter the application reference and your date of birth.

If you have not saved an application or if this is your first visit, press Create New Application.

Saved applications are stored for approximately two weeks after the date saved.

Data Protection Act

Under the Data Protection Act 1998, we will keep the information you have given us on computer and use it to deal with your housing application.

We also use information for our statistics, although we will not name people in these records.
